Laser Applications In General Practice

One of the great advantages of the K-Laser Blue Derma is the large number of conditions that can be treated with the different settings and handpieces.

The Blue Derma has been designed for Skin Cancer Clinics and doctors with a strong interest in dermatology to treat many of the skin lesions met in general practice:

  • Aesthetic applications
  • Fungus infection
  • Slow wound healing
  • Pain management

Clinical Applications for Skin Cancer and GP Clinics

1 - Seborrheic Keratosis

  • Through heat and chemical reaction triggered by the 445nm blue laser beam, cells are denatured and burned.
  • The dead tissue can then be gently removed
  • No to minimal inflammation post laser => minimal risk of scar.

The K-LASER 445nm Blue wavelength is not absorbed by water so it triggers nearly no heat damage on the surrounding tissues.

2 - Skin Tags

  • High control and precision to target only specific tissues and leave untouched the healthy tissue around.

K-Laser Blue derma handpieces are easy to use for a very precise and controlled usage.

3 -Unpigmented benign raised lesions

  • Control and Precision even if hair is present!
  • Hair follicle are located in the dermis
  • Target only superficial epidermis to keep the hair follicle intact.

The K-LASER Blue wavelength is superficiel and the ablative effect well controled.

4 - Skin moles Clinical Pictures

  • Benign skin moles can be removed with K-Laser.
  • Anywhere on the body
  • Condyloma, papilloma, hydroadenoma, xanthelema, fibroma...

5 - Telangiectasia

  • Quick, easy, instant results
  • 445nm Blue wavelength has a high affinity with the hemoglobin chromophore so it targets superficial blood vessels very efficiently.

K-Laser Blue derma does not target water, hence low thermal damage. No cooling system is required.

6- Angiomas

  • Angiomas anywhere on the body
  • Venous lake, flat angiomas, ruby angiomas, spider angiomas

7- Rosacea and Clinical pictures

  • Telangiectasia and flat angiomas on patients with rosacea can be treated with the vascular settings
  • Diffuse erythema can be treated with the photorejuvenation mode of laser light therapy

K-Laser Blue Derma uses blue wavelength for vascular settings and red wavelength for laser light therapy.

8 - Solar lentigo

  • Lentigines are common consequences of sun damage in Australia.
  • The 445nm blue wavelength has a high coefficient of absorption with melanin pigment. So the blue laser is efficient at treating lentigines.

HIGH PRECISION. The K-Laser handpiece is to be used like a pencil targeting the exact shape of the lesion. No more healthy tissue damaged around the lesion!

9 - Age spots and clinical pictures

  • Watch a series of pictures of freckles and age spots on various part of the body being treated with the K-Laser Blue Derma.

10 - Onychomycosis

  • Infra-red Laser beam heats the infected nails (selective photothermolysis) to kill the fungus.
  • The blue wavelength also provides strong antiseptic properties

K-Laser Blue Derma has 3 wavelengths (Red, Infra-red and 445nm blue blue) to trigger complementary cellular effect (thermolysis and antiseptic effects)

10 - Plantar Warts

  • Infra-red Laser beam heats the infected nails (selective photothermolysis) to kill the fungus.
  • The blue wavelength also provides strong antiseptic properties

K-Laser Blue Derma has 3 wavelengths (Red, Infra-red and 445nm blue blue) to trigger complementary cellular effect (thermolysis and antiseptic effects)

11 - Active Acne

  • Red and Infra-red Laser light therapy otherwise known as "healing laser light" is a great addition to acne treatment
  • The blue wavelength also provides strong antiseptic properties and targets the typical acne bacteria.

K-Laser Blue Derma has 3 wavelengths (Red, Infra-red and 445nm blue blue) to trigger complementary cellular effect (anti-inflammatory and antiseptic effects)

12 - Hematoma & Scar Incision - Skin Graft - Skin Flap Post-Skin Cancer Surgery

  • Red and Infra-red Laser light therapy otherwise known as healing light triggers vasodilation to help drain edema and inflamation post surgery.

K-Laser Blue Derma has 3 wavelengths (Red, Infra-red and 445nm blue to trigger complementary cellular effect (vasodilation, anti-inflammatory, cell proliferation and antiseptic effects)

13 - Wounds - Diebetic Ulcers - Vasculitis - Burns

  • The vasodilation effect of Laser light therapy also known as LLLT (Low Level Laser Therapy) help with tissue oxygenation. It is a great additional tool to improve wound healing, vasculitis and chronic ulcers of diabetic patients.

K-Laser Blue Derma has 3 wavelengths (Red, Infra-red and 445nm blue to trigger complementary cellular effect (vasodilation, anti-inflammatory and antiseptic effects)

14 - Pain- MSK injuries & Inflammed tissues

  • Arthritis and MSK sport injuries respond well to the phototobiomodulation effect of High Intensity Laser Therapy (HILT – High Power Class 4 Laser). It penetrates in deep tissues to helps with inflamed tissues and neuralgia.
  • Sinusitis, TMJ Disease, Bursitis & Neuralgia , also respond very well to the anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects of photobiomodulation (laser therapy)
